Job summary

Benihana - Mall of America in Bloomington, MN is seeking energetic Teppan Chefs for our hibachi tables. This tipped role offers strong earnings as hourly pay plus tips, with potential to earn up to about $1,000 per week during peak seasons.

You will entertain guests with a live cooking show, maintain cleanliness and portion standards, and work with a dynamic team. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• Must be able to successfully pass Benihana chef training program.
• Previous experience as chef or cook highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Greets and welcomes guests within 15 minutes of their teppan order.
• Performs a cooking show for assigned tables ensuring interaction is appropriate and courteous.
• Reads about Benihana foods as they are cooked and answers guest inquiries.
• Responds promptly to guest requests.
• Asks guests for cooking preferences and follows instructions.
