Benihana in Alpharetta, GA, seeks a Teppan Chef for a tipping position with strong earning potential. You will perform a cooking show and engage guests directly at hibachi tables, ensuring correct portions and sanitary prep.

A high school diploma or GED is required, plus successful completion of Benihana's chef training program. There is a comprehensive benefits package for full-time staff, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and PTO.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• Must be able to successfully pass Benihana chef training program.
• Previous experience as chef or cook highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Greets and welcomes guests within 15 minutes of their teppan order(s).
• Performs a cooking show for assigned tables ensuring interaction with guests is appropriate and courteous.
• Reads guests for information about Benihana foods as they are cooked or upon inquiries.
• Responds promptly and courteously to guest requests.
• Asks guests for cooking preference and follows guest instructions.
• Prepares a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items for cooking.
