Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology, History, Sociology, or related discipline.
• Four years college teaching experience (96+ credits).
• Strong knowledge of instructional media methods and strategies.
• Ability to plan and budget principles and methods.
• Supervisory ability.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse backgrounds including disabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Teach up to 30 credit hours per academic year in lecture, hybrid, and/or online formats.
• Evaluate and assess student learning outcomes.
• Provide student mentoring, advising, and support.
• Develop curriculum and periodically review instructional materials.
• Assist with program reviews and accreditation activities.
• Plan and execute program-related events.
• Attend workshops and professional conferences to maintain currency.
