Job summary

Cobb County Government seeks two Recreation Coordinators for the PARKS department in Marietta, GA. The roles will coordinate, plan, and implement specialized programming at tennis centers, with emphasis on customer service and facility management.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, scheduling, budgeting, and public relations to promote services. A Bachelor’s in Parks & Recreation and driver’s license are required; tennis programming experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Parks & Recreation or related field; 3 years' experience as Recreation Coordinator, Programmer or Specialist or equivalent combination.
• Experience in tennis programming and event scheduling is preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, directs, and evaluates assigned staff and performs performance appraisals.
• Coordinates daily work activities including scheduling, staffing, and training.
• Plans, implements, coordinates diversified recreation and sports programs and facilities.
• Coordinates facility and grounds use and manages budgets for assigned facility or program.
• Coordinates public relations and promotes programs to the community.
