Job summary

The Tennis Coordinator at Macon-Bibb County Government supports the Tennis Center Manager in day-to-day operations, court scheduling, and delivery of tennis programs and tournaments.

This role supervises part-time staff, maintains participant and sales records, collects payments, deposits funds, and coordinates special events while ensuring compliance with all rules and overseeing facility maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Five+ years of tennis operations experience.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and handle money.
• Strong communication and supervisory skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the management of the Tennis Center operations and court scheduling.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate assigned part-time personnel.
• Coordinate programs for special events.
• Maintain records related to participants and sales.
• Manage play of patrons and schedule court usage.
• Work with tennis associates using the facilities.
• Order supplies to operate the Tennis Center.
• Enforce all rules and regulations at the Tennis Center.
• Collect money for lessons, camps, clinics, merchandise/sales; make deposits and prepare financial reports.
• Assist in monitoring Tennis Center maintenance.
