Job summary

SVN | Northern Commercial is seeking ambitious Tenant Representation Specialists in Indianapolis to identify, evaluate, and secure retail spaces that meet client needs. You will build long-term CRE business and work with a national platform plus local broker support.

You'll develop client relationships, negotiate terms, and guide transactions to close, leveraging mentorship, technology, and market data to grow your own pipeline.

Qualifications

• Active Indiana commercial real estate license, or motivation to obtain one.
• Strong interest in commercial real estate and tenant representation.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to build your own business.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated, disciplined, and comfortable working independently.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Represent tenants in leasing, buying, and relocation of retail properties.
• Develop relationships with business owners, tenants, landlords, investors, and industry professionals.
• Generate new business through networking, referrals, research, and outreach.
• Identify and evaluate available properties based on client needs and market conditions.
• Analyze market data, properties, and lease terms to identify opportunities.
• Prepare property proposals, market analyses, and client presentations.
• Guide clients through property tours, negotiations, lease terms, and the transaction process.
• Collaborate with experienced brokers in a team-oriented environment.
• Stay informed on market trends and developments to provide informed guidance.
