SVN | Northern Commercial is seeking ambitious Tenant Representation Specialists to join our Indianapolis team. You’ll work with businesses to identify and secure retail space, build your own pipeline, and grow a long-term commercial real estate business with the support of experienced brokers.

Responsibilities

• Represent tenants in leasing, buying, and relocation of retail commercial properties.
• Develop relationships with business owners, tenants, landlords, investors, and industry professionals.
• Generate new business through networking, referrals, research, and proactive outreach.
• Identify and evaluate available properties based on client needs, business objectives, and market conditions.
• Analyze market data, properties, and lease terms to identify opportunities.
• Prepare property proposals, market analyses, and client presentations.
• Guide clients through property tours, negotiations, lease terms, and the transaction process from start to close.
• Collaborate with experienced brokers in a team-oriented environment.
• Stay informed on market trends and developments to provide informed client guidance.
• Build and manage your own pipeline and develop a long-term commercial real estate business.

As a Tenant Representation Specialist, you will work with businesses and tenants throughout Indianapolis and surrounding markets to identify, evaluate, and secure commercial space that meets their business needs. You’ll develop relationships, identify opportunities, advise clients, negotiate transactions, and build a business of your own with the support of experienced brokers.

What You’ll Do

• Represent tenants in the leasing, buying, and relocation of retail commercial properties

What We’re Looking For

• Active Indiana commercial real estate license, or the motivation to obtain one
• Strong interest in commercial real estate and a desire to specialize in tenant representation and retail properties
• Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to build your own business
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated, disciplined, and comfortable working independently
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

Prior commercial real estate experience is valuable, but not required. We are interested in individuals who are motivated to learn, willing to put in the work, and committed to building a long-term career in commercial real estate.
