Job summary

Five Below in Mississippi is seeking an Interim Support Lead to help deliver an outstanding customer experience and to lead front-end operations during peak periods or a manager's leave. You will manage cash, merchandising, and safety while guiding staff and applying store policies.

The role includes acting as Manager on Duty when needed, training associates, driving sales, and coordinating with the store leadership team to ensure efficient daily operations.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members wow the customer through personal contact.
• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience for fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and their duties.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, taking responsibility for store operations and staff.
• Manages opening/closing the store, cash handling, and alarms.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drives sales and controls expenses through merchandising and staff performance.
