Job summary

The Army & Air Force Exchange Service (the Exchange) is seeking a Store Associate for a temporary 12-month position at our California location. You will help merchandise the floor, create and update price labels, and ensure shelf labeling accuracy while delivering exceptional customer service.

As a versatile team member, you’ll follow safety procedures, assist customers, and use store software to manage labels and pricing. A strong emphasis on keeping the area clean and well stocked is required.

*This is a Temporary position with a duration of 12 months*

As a Store Associate at the Exchange, you’ll function as a jack-of-all trades for the store. If you are highly adaptable and enjoy a job where no two days are the same, this is the position for you. Your primary duties will involve merchandising the floor, creating price labels, and updating shelf labels. Therefore, organizational skills and tidiness are important- you are an integral part of making sure our store looks clean and appealing to the customer. Your knowledge of the store will also allow you to provide expert customer service and create a welcoming environment.

Job Qualifications

Completion of high school or the equivalent. Retail experience. Demonstrated willingness and potential for additional responsibility.

This is a temporary position to help with coverage during our 4th quarter season. The duration of employment will not exceed 12 months. Below is the proposed schedule for the position.

• Sunday: 10:00am - 3:00pm
• Monday: 10:00am - 3:00pm
• Tuesday: 10:00am - 3:00pm
• Wednesday: 10:00am - 3:00pm
• Thursday: 11:30am - 8:00pm
• Friday: Off
• Saturday: Off
