Zusammenfassung

Abode Services is seeking a Temporary Shelter Monitor to help maintain safety and support for residents at the Napa shelter. The role involves front desk duties, greeting visitors, and ensuring cleanliness and compliance with guidelines.

You will log resident needs, assist with intakes/exits, coordinate with staff, and participate in trainings while upholding compassionate service and professional boundaries in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• 6 months of social services or customer service experience.
• Use of personal vehicle and proof of valid California Driver's License and current auto insurance.
• Flexible schedule to work evening and weekend hours as needed.

Aufgaben

• Maintain health and safety of Shelter residents and assist program donors/volunteers.
• Answer phone lines, greet visitors, oversee front desk activities, and solve problems with participants.
• Inspect facility, sign in participants, enforce shelter guidelines, and document resident needs and issues.
• Communicate with service coordinators and shelter staff on incidents and activities.
• Complete participant intakes and exit paperwork; assist with unit turnovers and daily cleaning.
