The Salvation Army in Nashville is seeking a Lead Housing Monitor to support shelter operations, supervise staff and volunteers, and ensure safety and compliance with house rules. The role involves answering questions, guiding clients, and maintaining accurate records of daily activities.

Responsibilities include monitoring residents, conducting checks, assisting with intake and reports, and coordinating with the Program Director to address concerns and improve service delivery.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or G.E.D. and some college, preferably in social work or related field.
• Three or more years of monitoring, security or administrative work in a social service environment.
• Experience in a culturally diverse environment is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in defusing concerns and report information to the Program Director.
• Complete write-ups and incident reports when needed.
• Exits Clients and ensure exit forms are accurate with contact details.
• Update daily client housekeeping assignment logs and distribute room keys.
• Maintain logs for laundry room usage and client mail distribution.
• Monitor residents via security cameras and check doors/windows for safety.
• Conduct daily checks of rooms/areas and file reports on condition.
• Assist in monitoring clients during mealtimes.
• Round the facility to ensure security and order.
• Answer telephone inquiries about shelter operations and document daily activities.
• Complete client intake, including forms and drug testing/breathalyzer as needed.
• Secure overnight clients and communicate information to staff and directors.
• Coordinate with departments regarding facility concerns.
• Process Snap Benefits transactions as needed.
• Assist in training interns on EFS Program duties.
• Direct volunteers, vendors and visitors to appropriate areas.
