Job summary

Macy’s, Inc. in New York is seeking a Temporary Senior Recruiter to support salaried hiring across the organization for a 3-6 month assignment.

You will source, screen, and interview candidates, partnering with hiring managers to understand staffing needs in a fast-paced retail environment. You will leverage LinkedIn, Indeed, Oracle ATS, and MS Office to manage the end-to-end process, maintain candidate relationships, and promote Macy’s employer brand in external markets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing end-to-end recruitment processes for professional roles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Creative and strategic thinker for developing effective recruiting strategies.
• Proficiency in recruiting tools such as LinkedIn, Indeed, Oracle ATS, and MS Office.
• Ability to professionally represent Macy’s and establish the brand as a top contact for talent.
• Strong collaboration with hiring managers and HRBPs to meet recruitment needs.
• Adaptable and flexible to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, researching, and recruiting talent up to the time of offer.
• Strategize with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to attract top external talent.
• Manage candidate relationships throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a best-in-class candidate experience.
• Represent Macy’s professionally in the marketplace and establish the brand as the go-to contact for external talent interested in Macy’s planning opportunities.
• Maximize the use of recruiting tools such as LinkedIn, Indeed and the Oracle Applicant Tracking System.
• Find additional networking opportunities to attract top talent, including talent communities and alternative job boards.
• Establish, cultivate, and maintain strong working relationships with HRBPs to understand business unit recruitment needs and create a partnership that ensures a seamless hiring process.
• Embrace the Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence culture, mindset, and behavior.
• Maintain regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities
