Job summary

Macy’s is seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to guide candidates from application through onboarding, partnering with local leaders and centralized HR teams. This role includes posting roles, coordinating interviews, and ensuring smooth onboarding for new colleagues.

The ideal candidate will manage ATS workflows, assist with background checks, and maintain accurate colleague data while upholding confidentiality and compliance in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• End-to-end recruitment process management using ATS.
• Clear communication with candidates and partners to maintain candidate experience.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate with local leaders and centralized HR teams to meet hiring needs.

Responsibilities

• Identify hiring needs by reviewing reports and building relationships with local leaders and centralized partners.
• Post and maintain open positions on internal and external job boards; collaborate with partners to complete job templates in the ATS.
• Manage candidates through the ATS, assisting with interview scheduling, job fair coordination, and candidate greetings.
• Coordinate screening, interview calendars, and scheduling logistics with Recruitment Operations and People Leaders.
• Assist with pre-employment processes, including background checks and drug screenings; provide status updates to People Leaders and candidates.
• Schedule new hire start dates, oversee new hire paperwork, orientation, and badge issuance.
• Provide resources on benefits, tax forms, direct deposit, and onboarding processes.
• Input and maintain colleague data, including status changes, transfers, promotions, and corrections.
