Job Summary/Basic Function

The department of Accounting & Finance is acceptingapplications for a Temporary Part-Time Faculty Member to teachundergraduate courses in international business as well as generalbusiness topics, conducting in-person lectures, creatingassessments, and fostering inclusive learning environments.Requirements include an MBA, MS in a relevant field, or J.D., andprior business experience. Previous teaching experience ispreferred, and strong communication skills are essential.Additionally, there is an expectation for scholarship and servicecommensurate with the assignment. This position offers theopportunity to contribute to academic and professional studentdevelopment. The purpose of this posting is to generate a pool ofqualified faculty. Applications submitted will be reviewed on an asneeded basis based on enrollment. • Able to record and calculate grades, prepare course outline and syllabus, develop course and lesson plans, engage in the selection of appropriate textbooks and other teaching aids necessary to the delivery of instruction.
• Use computer for email, obtain information on websites, prepare class documents, grade papers, submit final grades online and other duties related to teaching and advising students and serving the department, college, university and community.
