Job Summary/Basic Function

The department of Accounting & Finance is accepting applications for a Temporary Part-Time Faculty Member to teach undergraduate courses in international business as well as general business topics, conducting in-person lectures, creating assessments, and fostering inclusive learning environments. Requirements include an MBA, MS in a relevant field, or J.D., and prior business experience. Previous teaching experience is preferred, and strong communication skills are essential. Additionally, there is an expectation for scholarship and service commensurate with the assignment. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to academic and professional student development. TEACHING AND PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES :

Teaching responsibilities in at least one of the following areas, depending on program need: Introduction to Business, International Business, Business Law, Entrepreneurship.

Part‑time faculty members shall maintain a prorated number of office hours each week, at a minimum of twenty‑five (25) minutes for each workload hour taught, at such days, times and locations as will accommodate the needs of the students.

This position requires in‑person instruction on Millersville University’s campus. This position is contingent upon sufficient enrollments in assigned classes.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION :

The Department of Accounting and Finance in the Lombardo College of Business is comprised of five full‑time faculty members. The college has approximately 770 undergraduate students and offers BS degrees in accounting, finance, information technology, marketing, management, and business administration. The Lombardo College of Business is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).
