Job summary

Visions Federal Credit Union is hiring a Temporary Member Service Representative for our Ithaca, NY branch. You will help members with routine transactions, provide friendly, professional service, and support accuracy in daily tasks.

This temporary role runs through December/January with shifts M-F 8:30–5:30 and rotating Saturdays. Prior teller or member service experience is a plus; Microsoft Office skills are helpful. On-site position with potential support at nearby branches.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous teller or member service experience is a plus.
• Comfort using Microsoft Office programs.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and service skills.
• Ability to stay organized and manage time effectively.
• Attention to detail and basic math functions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, professional service while assisting members with routine transactions and account-related needs.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining confidentiality.
• Create a welcoming, member-centered experience reflecting Visions’ commitment to service.
• Communicate clearly, answer questions, and connect members with resources.
• Maintain attention to detail while balancing service, accuracy, and efficiency in a fast-paced branch.
