Job summary

Visions Federal Credit Union is seeking a Temporary Member Service Representative to join our Elmira, NY branch team. This on-site role involves handling routine transactions with a focus on accuracy, confidentiality, and member care. The position runs through December/January with weekends rotating.

Pay is $17.30 per hour, and the role is full-time and on-site at our Ithaca branch, with coverage at Spencer & Cortland as needed. This is not sponsorship for employment authoirzation at this time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Experience in teller, cash handling, or customer/member service is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and standard office equipment.

About the Position: Visions Federal Credit Union is looking for Temporary Member Service Representatives to join our branch team in Elmira, NY. In this frontline role, you’ll help create a positive member experience by assisting with everyday transactions, providing friendly and professional service, and supporting members with accuracy, care, and attention to detail. This is a temporary position expected to run through the end of December/January, with the exact end date based on business needs.

Position Type: Temporary, full-time, 40 hours per week. Regular shifts include Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with rotating Saturday shifts from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This is a temporary position expected to run through the end of December/January, with the exact end date based on business needs.

Compensation: $17.30 per hour

Location: On-site at our Ithaca Branch located at , coverage at our Spencer & Corland Branches as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Previous teller, cash handling, customer service, or member service experience is a plus.
• Comfort using Microsoft Office programs and standard office equipment.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and service skills.
• Ability to stay organized, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Attention to detail and the ability to perform basic math functions.
• Commitment to following credit union policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal requirements.
