Job summary

Greystar is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for an immediate temporary role to cover a leave of absence. The position offers a $1,000 sign-on bonus paid after 30 days of service and a chance to transition to a permanent role at another property upon successful completion of the assignment.

The technician will perform technical and mechanical work to ensure apartments, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for safety, cleanliness, and functionality.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safe use of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.
• Experience with painting, carpentry, appliance repair, and basic plumbing.
• Professionalism, good communication, and strong reading/writing skills.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests and repairs in a timely manner, including appliance repairs.
• Prepare apartments for new move-ins via the make-ready process and punch lists.
• Maintain cleanliness of exterior buildings and parking areas; assist with vendor management.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of equipment and facilities.
• Document and track service requests and maintain safety compliance.
