• Performs essential duties during emergencies (e.g., hurricanes, storms, university closures).
• Available to work during university emergency closing with notification by department administration.
• Performs other related duties as required by Administration.
• Travel between campuses (BBC & EC) as needed for maintenance operations.

Job Summary

The Operations and Safety Department is currently seeking a Temporary Maintenance Support Worker to join their team of professionals.

Duties Include

• Performs maintenance related duties such as pressure cleaning of garage and lots.
• Operates the different types of cleaning equipment including boom for pressure cleaning and other equipment needed for cleaning project.
• Provides support during special events to ensure proper signage placement on campus such as placing barricades, VMS boards, and light towers as needed.
• Performs essential duties during any emergencies, such as hurricanes, storms and/or any other University closing.
• Is expected to be available to work as needed during university emergency closing with appropriate notification by department administration.
• Performs other related duties as required or as directed by Administration.
• Weekend and weeknight availability.
• Assists in the upkeep and cleaning of department fleet.
• Operate/Drive department vehicles such as trucks, vans, and golf carts.
• Travel between campuses (BBC & EC) as needed for maintenance operations.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.
