Job summary

The University of California, Irvine is seeking a temporary data and project coordinator to support Undergraduate Student Housing Residential Services with data management, tooling onboarding, and cross‑team coordination.

You will collect and organize data, prepare reports and memos, and provide professional customer service while maintaining confidentiality, with proficiency in Excel, Word, and SharePoint and ability to work independently in a team.

Qualifications

• Experience managing multiple projects independently and in teams.
• Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and SharePoint; maintain organized files.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional relationships.
• English reading and writing fluency.

Responsibilities

• Support the Undergraduate Student Housing Residential Services team with data management, resource management, and project coordination.
• Assist the Director of Residential Services with the implementation and onboarding of new housing management software.
• Collect, organize, analyze, and maintain data, records, electronic files, and office procedures.
• Prepare memos, letters, reports, presentations, and other administrative materials using standard business formats.
• Provide professional customer service and collaborate with students, student staff, faculty, staff, and campus visitors while maintaining confidentiality.
