Job summary

Rochester Institute of Technology is seeking a skilled facilities professional to support daily operation and upkeep of campus housing and facilities. This temporary role reports to the Director of Technical Services & Building Operations and focuses on preventative maintenance and timely issue resolution.

You will manage work orders, coordinate renovations, oversee events, and respond to urgent facility incidents, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for students and staff.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in related field and seven years of related experience or equivalent mix of education/experience.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and campus facilities operations.

Responsibilities

• Implement preventative maintenance plans for campus housing and facilities.
• Execute short- and long-term projects such as student room upgrades and renovations.
• Use work order systems to track requests, prioritize tasks, and ensure safety standards.
• Coordinate with partners to address renovation and safety needs.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and events for designated facilities.
