Job summary

Rochester Institute of Technology on-campus maintenance technician role in Auxiliary Services is seeking skilled trades personnel to perform building maintenance across plumbing, carpentry, doors/hardware, painting, drywall, and related trades. Responsibilities

• Perform building maintenance and skilled trade repairs (plumbing, carpentry, doors/hardware, painting, drywall, flooring).
• Assess problems, plan the best course of action, and coordinate with teams or vendors.
• Inspect and preventively maintain building systems and respond to urgent issues.
• Create and update work orders, procure supplies, and maintain records.
• Support safety and compliance across campus facilities.
