Job summary

Maricopa County is seeking Temporary Ballot Tabulation Center Inspector to support the November General Election. You will organize and process ballots, provide guidance, and perform data entry in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, voter registration in Arizona, no designated party status, and the ability to work overtime. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are valued; online application and background checks apply.

Qualifications

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must be a registered voter or become one in Arizona by hire date.
  • Must be an Independent or Party Not Designated registered voter.
  • Background check and/or fingerprinting required.
  • Ability to work overtime during the election cycle.
  • Legible penmanship required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist adjudication teams by providing guidance on voter intent.
  • Stand and move between teams to support workflow.
  • Maintain accurate, legible documentation of ballot processing.
  • Assist other Elections divisions and Recorder's Office with daily operations.
