The University of Georgia is seeking a Temporary Administrative Assistant for the AY 2018-2019 in Athens. This role provides administrative support to LLED faculty and staff, assists with inventory, signage, mail, reception duties, and occasional special projects with faculty.

Position Summary: Provides administrative support to LLED faculty and staff including creating and maintaining office supply inventory, assisting the Office Manager with equipment inventory, copying and scanning, overseeing office space signage, supporting social media, and general reception duties such as answering phones, greeting visitors, and organizing mail. Some special project work with faculty is also included.
Minimum qualifications are to be defined by the department based on the responsibilities of the position.
Basic computer skills and general knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe software.
Some light lifting required (reorganizing office spaces and stocking the supply room). Sitting at a desk doing computer work and walking on errands.
No driving required. No financial responsibilities.
Full‑time Equivalent: 0.49. Non‑exempt. Part‑time. Hourly pay rate: $7.25. Work schedule: after‑school hourly basis not to exceed 20 hours per week.
