Job summary

HME is seeking a temporary Team Lead for the 2nd shift (2:30pm - 11:00pm) in Carlsbad, CA. This role oversees daily unit operations, coordinates tasks for assemblers and testers, and ensures quality and safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in manufacturing leadership, strong problem solving, and proficiency in Lean principles. Expect 7S housekeeping, audits, and active involvement in new product integration on the floor.

Qualifications

• Leadership and team supervision experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to train and guide others on processes and procedures.
• Strong problem solving and analytical abilities with attention to Lean principles.
• Proficient computer skills and effective written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor daily unit operations and lead standard work.
• Assign tasks to assemblers and testers and track production through the board.
• Identify production issues and escalate to supervisor as needed.
• Verify documents and instructions before work and ensure quality conformance.
• Participate in new product integration on the manufacturing floor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
