Job summary

ASML in San Diego, CA is seeking a 2nd Shift Manufacturing Team Lead to actively participate in assembly and test operations while leading a team of 5–9 technicians. You will coach and develop staff, ensure safety and quality, and drive daily production goals.

This on-site role requires interfacing with cross-functional teams and adapting to changing priorities. The position emphasizes Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and hands-on leadership in a lab-like environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in manufacturing, production, or operations.
• Experience leading teams, projects, or manufacturing work centers.
• Hands-on manufacturing, assembly, or test environment experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing concepts and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 5–9 direct reports with day-to-day direction, coaching and development.
• Lead assemblers and test technicians in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Promote safety, accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
• Drive employee engagement and a positive, collaborative team environment.
• Ensure processes are trained and certified; prioritize resources to meet demand.
• Participate in audits, quality standards, and change order implementations.
• Balance hands-on manufacturing with leadership duties and budgeted targets.
