Job summary

ASML in San Diego is seeking a 2nd Shift Manufacturing Team Lead to supervise a team of 5–9 assemblers and test technicians while actively participating in daily manufacturing operations. This hands-on leadership role combines technical guidance with people development, focusing on safety, quality, on-time delivery, and continuous improvement through Lean, 5S, Kaizen and Six Sigma.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 4+ years manufacturing/ops experience preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with coaching and development focus.
• Hands-on leader able to supervise assembly and test activities.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5S in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Independently supervise 5–9 direct reports with day-to-day direction and development.
• Lead assembled and test technicians in a fast-paced environment to meet safety, quality, delivery and cost objectives.
• Coordinate daily production activities and support problem resolution across cross-functional teams.
• Drive continuous improvement and compliance with documented processes and quality standards.
