Qualifikationen

• Two or more years of food handling experience; sushi rolling experience or culinary degree.
• Excellent knife skills for sashimi, nigiri, and garnishes.
• Valid food handler's card or ability to obtain one before first shift.
• Expert knowledge of food safety regulations and safe handling practices.
• Able to communicate in English with customers and teammates.
• Professional conduct in front of customers and coworkers; work under pressure.

Aufgaben

• Expert cutting, slicing and filleting of fish, vegetables, and produce.
• Prepare sushi rice to spec; create rolls per kiosk guidelines.
• Prepare various sushi dishes following quality, portion, and safety standards.
• Prepare additional fresh foods and entrees as needed.
• Inspect quality of fruits, vegetables, and fish used in dishes.
• Manage food waste and costs to align with kiosk goals.
• Maintain daily par levels to avoid over-production and keep cases full.
• Ensure a clean, contamination-free work environment; sterilize tools and equipment.
