UC San Diego is seeking a Storekeeper to support data entry, inventory control, and logistics for satellite shops across campus. The role involves data entry into the Maximo system, organizing stock, and coordinating deliveries and pickups with departments and vendors.

The position requires strong organizational skills, reliable communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Normal schedule is 40 hours per week, with potential variations including earlier starts and occasional Saturday

Competenze

• Ability to lift 20-50 lbs.
• Ability to operate a large pickup or delivery box truck.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to stay organized with shifting deadlines and priorities.
• Basic computer skills.

Mansioni

• Assist with data entry of part numbers, stock and receipts into the Maximo inventory system.
• Conduct monthly or quarterly inventory counts of satellite shops and deliver reports.
• Assist with year-end parts count and reporting.
• Maintain and organize satellite shops.
• Distribute stock and aid in pickup of excess equipment.
• Log equipment and process related documentation.
• Arrange pickups from vendors and assist with research of parts.
• Ensure Marketplace orders are scanned before delivery.
