WMFHA is seeking two temporary Property Manager / Recertification Specialists to support a large resident recertification project in Newark, NJ. You will handle annual and interim recertifications, ensuring strict compliance with LIHTC, HUD, and Section 8 programs.

The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in affordable housing and file management is essential.

Qualificações

• Previous experience in Property Management, Affordable Housing, or Compliance required.
• Strong experience processing resident recertifications.
• Working knowledge of LIHTC, HUD, Section 8, and affordable housing regulations.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage a high volume of files while meeting strict deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Process annual and interim resident recertifications from start to finish.
• Review resident files and supporting documentation for completeness and compliance.
• Verify income, assets, household composition, and program eligibility requirements.
• Ensure compliance with LIHTC, HUD, Section 8, and other affordable housing regulations.
• Communicate with residents regarding missing documentation and recertification requirements.
• Maintain accurate resident records and organized file documentation.
• Monitor recertification deadlines and ensure timely completion of assigned files.
• Collaborate with property management and compliance teams to meet project objectives.
• Enter and update resident information in property management and compliance systems.
