Paths Building Services LLC seeks a dedicated Affordable Housing Recertification Specialist to support Property Managers in the tenant certification and recertification process at Bronx properties. The role covers daily property management tasks and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will calculate rents, review applicant files, and assist residents with verifications and documents, contributing to smooth occupancy operations and timely recertifications.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of affordable housing experience preferred.
• Experience managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent verbal and writing skills.
• Professional demeanor with all staff and applicants.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook).
• Yardi Voyager experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED; some college preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and conduct resident certification interviews.
• Review information for accuracy and completeness.
• Calculate income, assets, and expenses for recertifications.
• Maintain waitlists and enter applications.
• Assist with daily property operations and rent processing.
• Ensure compliance with HUD and HPD guidelines.
• Identify rent adjustments and Section 8 eligibility.
• Process initial, annual, and interim recertifications.
