Job summary

Lamsco West is seeking a detail-oriented Temporary Inventory Clerk to assist with physical inventory counts and verification in our warehouse. This role supports year-end inventory activities by accurately counting, recording, and organizing inventory to ensure accurate records.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a warehouse environment. Responsibilities include counts, discrepancy resolution, and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field preferred; candidates pursuing such degrees considered.
• Previous warehouse, inventory control, or counting experience preferred.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to identify and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications.
• Ability to read and identify part numbers and inventory labels.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical inventory counts of materials, parts, and products throughout the warehouse.
• Verify inventory quantities against records and count sheets.
• Identify and report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged materials.
• Record counts using inventory sheets or electronic systems.
• Assist with cycle counts and year-end inventory activities.
• Verify part numbers, labels, and locations for accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe warehouse environment.
• Follow safety procedures and warehouse policies.
• Support inventory-related duties as needed.
