Job summary

Lamsco West, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Clerk to support warehouse operations with accurate inventory control, material handling, and document management. The role involves measuring and weighing remnants, restocking, and ensuring timely filing of production Lits and records.

Qualifications

• Strong filing and numeric data entry skills.
• Ability to read/write/speak English; interpret manufacturing plans for Make Stock instructions.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; one to three months related experience preferred.
• Must be able to work scheduled shift and meet attendance requirements; may stay late or modify hours on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Measure and weigh daily remnants; restock them when finished.
• File production Lits daily. When stock is released from the warehouse to the shop it contains a picture of the part that is to be created. Once the part is machined, the paper Lit is returned to the warehouse for filing. The Lits must be filed daily and correctly.
• Follow the Lean Philosophy and practice the 5 S’s on a daily basis.
• Additional duties as assigned.
