Job summary

The role requires HVAC expertise, potential NJ Master HVACR license, OSHA 10, and EPA 608 certifications, plus ability to adapt to changing schedules and maintain safety standards.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in the HVAC field.
• Prior teaching experience preferred.
• Proficient written communication skills including the ability to prepare reports and document student progress.
• Strong verbal communication skills for classroom instruction and student engagement.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver instruction aligned with the approved curriculum daily.
• Develop lesson plans that support student learning outcomes and workforce readiness.
• Organize and maintain instructional materials, tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, including grading and attendance tracking.
• Provide timely, accurate, and constructive feedback on student performance and participation.
• Maintain current knowledge of industry standards, laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Communicate effectively with school staff regarding student progress.
• Model professionalism, reliability, and respect in the workplace.
