Morris County Vocational School District is seeking a part-time Continuing Education HVAC-R Instructor in Denville, NJ. Qualifications

Description

MCVSD Continuing Education department has an anticipated opening for a part-time Continuing Education HVAC-R Instructor who is a NJ Licensed HVAC technician to instruct adults enrolled in our registered training program for apprenticeship.

The course content includes concepts such as troubleshooting systems and components, concepts of fluid handling; cooling towers and indoor air quality.

Classes meet on campus two evenings and one evening online during the week for 3 hours per session for a total of 100 sessions per year September - June.

Qualifications

• At least 5-10 years employment experience in design, repair, installation of residential/commercial HVAC systems is required.
• Teaching experience (preferred)
• Excellent written and technical communication skills
• Experience with ESCO training materials and Job Readiness exams (preferred)
• Licensed in refrigerant handling (608, 410A, etc)

Compensation

$35.00 per hour; benefits n/a
