Job summary

Fairbanks Morse, LLC is seeking an HR Generalist Temp to support labor relations, recruitment, compliance and special projects. The role partners with the HR Manager to handle contract interpretation, record keeping, reporting, and employee relations.

Responsibilities include recruiting for bargaining unit and salaried roles, maintaining HR records, administering HR plans, developing SOPs, and participating in process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related major preferred; PHR strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct recruitment for bargaining unit positions and support salaried recruitment, including college and intern programs
• Assist HR Manager with contractual interpretation, record keeping and reporting, employee relations, conflict resolution, and discipline
• Administer HR plans and procedures; assist in policy development and implementation
• Develop and memorialize Standard Operating Procedures; participate in process improvement events
• Assist HR team with employee relations activities and programs, events, sponsorships
• Maintain employee records in HRIS and Excel
• Maintain Teams and SharePoint resources
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
• Keep professional knowledge up-to-date through workshops and networking
• Participate in annual HR goals and quarterly/annual updates
• Perform other duties as required
• Experience with Dayforce is a plus
