Job summary

LHH is seeking a Temporary HR Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations during a period of growth in a healthcare and educational services organization. You will partner with management and employees on onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, recruiting coordination, compliance, and HRIS maintenance.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of employee interaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, or HR experience.
• Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Experience with onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and recruitment.

Responsibilities

• Support full employee lifecycle including onboarding and offboarding.
• Assist recruitment activities and coordinate candidate communications.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and policies.
• Maintain employee files and HR documentation with confidentiality.
• Answer employee questions on benefits, policies, and leave.
• Assist with benefits enrollment and communications.
• Support employee relations and escalation as needed.
• Process status changes, promotions, transfers, and terminations.
• Prepare HR reports, metrics, and audits.
• Collaborate on performance management, training, and engagement.
