Job summary

BizIQ is seeking an experienced Interim HR Generalist to provide immediate, hands-on support during coverage gaps. The role is full-time, temporary, and hybrid, based in our Phoenix, AZ office.

You will independently manage a broad mix of HR responsibilities with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality. Responsibilities include HRIS data integrity, payroll support, employee recognition, offboarding, policy administration, and HR service delivery across multi-state operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in HR.
• 5+ years of progressive HR Generalist or HR Coordinator experience, including payroll.
• Experience with Paylocity or another comprehensive HCM/payroll platform.
• Experience supporting weekly payroll and a multi-state workforce.
• Multi-state HR compliance experience strongly preferred; HRIS audits a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide backfill support across HR processes including HRIS data integrity and payroll.
• Manage weekly loading and fulfillment of employee recognition/rewards programs.
• Support offboarding and policy administration; ensure accurate HR records.
• Respond to HR help desk tickets and escalate when needed.
• Assist with HR policy reviews and updates; maintain documentation and trackers.
