Pacific Office Automation is seeking 8 Temporary Document Scanning Specialists to support a large document imaging project at a client site in Portland. This temporary position runs through March 2027 with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must pass a clear background check.
• Ability to lift and move file boxes weighing up to 30 pounds.
• Temporary assignment through March 2027 or until project completion.

Responsibilities

• Prepare paper documents for scanning
• Cut folders and separate documents as needed
• Tape photo edges and repair documents to ensure proper scanning
• Scan documents accurately using high-volume scanning equipment
• Perform basic quality checks on scanned images
• Organize and reassemble documents when required
• Shred documents according to client procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all client confidentiality and document security requirements
