Job summary

Roadtex Transportation, a nationwide LTL carrier now part of Echo Global Logistics, seeks a forklift driver to join the warehouse team. You will inspect forklifts, load/unload materials, and maintain accurate inventory while working independently or with others.

Strong attention to detail and good communication are required. The role involves physical tasks, potential hot/cold conditions, and ensuring a safe, orderly work area.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience or use of warehouse distribution equipment required.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to pass internal forklift certification training and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect forklift before use to ensure proper working condition.
• Load and unload materials onto/off trucks using the forklift.
• Maintain inventory records and report discrepancies to management.
• Operate forklift safely and responsibly at all times.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Report forklift malfunctions or maintenance needs to management.
• Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.
