Job summary

Roadtex Transportation, now part of Echo Global Logistics, is seeking a forklift driver to support our nationwide warehouse operations. The role requires safe forklift operation, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or with a team to move and stock materials.

Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, loading/unloading goods, keeping inventory records, and maintaining a clean, safe work area while reporting any issues to management.

Qualifications

• Must have forklift experience and be able to demonstrate safety procedures.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Able to pass internal Forklift Certification Training and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting the forklift before use to ensure it is in proper working condition.
• Loading and unloading materials and goods onto and off trucks, trailers, or storage areas using the forklift.
• Maintaining inventory records and reporting any discrepancies to management.
• Ensuring that the forklift is always operated in a safe and responsible manner.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Reporting any forklift malfunctions or maintenance needs to management.
• Assisting with other warehouse tasks as needed.
