Job summary

The University of Minnesota Foundation (UMF) is seeking a proactive, solution-oriented administrative professional to provide operational support to the frontline fundraising team. This temporary role ensures continuity during staff vacancies, supporting multiple University units with a mix of basic admin tasks and higher-level project work.

Responsibilities span calendar/travel management, event logistics, donor data handling, and general operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 4+ years admin experience.
• Strong organizational skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; capable of handling confidential data and multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Calendar & Travel: Oversee scheduling for assigned fundraising staff and coordinate travel logistics and expense reporting.
• Event & Meeting Logistics: Coordinate vendors, catering, and materials for donor and team meetings.
• Data & Systems: Manage donor data entry, queries, and record maintenance within UMF systems.
• General Operations: Draft correspondence, manage mailings, and assist with special project work as needed.
