Job summary

The University of Minnesota Foundation (UMF) seeks a Prospect Research Project Manager to lead complex donor research, data analysis, and reporting to support fundraising goals. You will partner with collegiate units and development leadership to deliver actionable intelligence and ensure timely, high-quality research products.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree with 2+ years in nonprofit prospect research, strong Excel skills, and experience with fundraising databases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 2+ years in nonprofit prospect research or related field.
• Knowledge of prospect research methods, segmentation, and search tech.
• Ability to work with complex data, Excel, and fundraising databases.

Responsibilities

• Prospect Research: research individuals, corporations, and foundations and produce actionable reports.
• Prospect & Database Management: manage portfolios, data, and analytics for top donors.
• Customer Experience Management: partner with units to deliver high-quality research products.
• Project Management: handle complex requests and deliver timely outputs for leadership.
• Other Duties: pursue knowledge growth and contribute to strategy discussions.
