Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of teller or cash-handling experience.
• Two or more years preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Specialized training in branch operations or compliance preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead by example and support team collaboration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and credit union software systems.
• Familiarity with cash recyclers, vault controls, and teller line operations.
• Detail-oriented and able to handle a high volume of transactions efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Process a variety of member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, check cashing, and account inquiries.
• Balance work and cash daily with proper documentation.
• Assist with training, mentoring, and guidance to Teller staff.
• Open and close the branch as needed and manage currency orders and inventory.
• Ensure adherence to branch security and regulatory guidelines.
