Job summary

Rogue Credit Union is seeking a member relations role to accurately process financial transactions, assist members by phone or in person, and collaborate across departments to ensure exceptional service. The role requires basic cash handling, multi-tasking, and strong communication skills. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Some lifting and Saturday work are expected, with a rotating schedule. The position emphasizes service standards, product knowledge, and handling daily cash operations

Qualifications

• Experience: One month to twelve months of similar or related experience.
• Education: A high school education or GED.
• Interpersonal Skills: Work involves contact with people beyond immediate associates regarding routine matters for the purpose of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion.
• Other Skills: Good communication and listening skills: ability to multi-task, operate 10 key calculators, must have good computer and keyboarding, and cash handling skills.
• Physical Requirements: Some lifting up to 30 pounds, standing and walking; dexterity; vision.

Responsibilities

• Receives and accurately processes member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, money orders, transfers, disputes, and more as directed.
• Responds to member requests and problems, directing to the proper person for information and assistance.
• Collaborates with other departments/branches to maintain unsurpassed service.
• Promotes a culture of cross-selling Rogue's products and services to meet member needs.
• Maintains and balances cash drawer and daily transactions, ATMs, vaults, and related duties.
• Performs other duties as needed or assigned.
