Job summary

KeyBank in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Teller to provide excellent in-person client service and handle account transactions. You will balance the cash drawer, stay compliant with bank procedures, and help clients with financial wellness opportunities by connecting them with a Banker when appropriate.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and experience in client service and cash handling; familiarity with Windows-based applications and calculators is expected. Notary preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent business experience required.
• Experience in a client service role is required.
• Experience with cash handling is required.
• General understanding of PC Windows-based applications and calculator usage.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent in-person client service at the branch.
• Handle teller functions efficiently and accurately.
• Identify and resolve client servicing issues and escalate when needed.
• Transition clients to bankers for deeper financial wellness conversations.
• Follow compliance, audit, and security procedures and balance cash drawer.
• Maintain knowledge of product guides, fees, and policies.
• Work on Saturdays as directed by management.
