Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 6 months customer service, data entry or cash handling experience.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and exceptional customer service.
• Well-organized with proven time management and prioritization.
• Proficient with internet user-level technology.
• Bilingual based on branch needs, as a preferred qualification.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by understanding customer needs and delivering solutions.
• Educate customers through shoulder-to-shoulder digital demonstrations and identify self-service opportunities.
• Engage in lobby management, greeting customers and addressing their needs.
• Balance and process customer transactions following Bank Policy.
• Escalate account services issues to resolution and log complaints.
• Transition sales opportunities to appropriate banking partner.
• Perform branch operations such as cash ordering, vault, ATM, and wires.
• Process customer/account maintenance and AML/KYC related activities.
• Adhere to compliance and risk controls and promote M&T Bank brand.
• Complete other related duties as assigned.
