Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year teller experience and/or cash handling preferred.
• 6 months of customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to identify customer financial needs during transactions.
• 10-Key skills.
• Mathematical skills to count cash and coin.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of bank products and solutions.
• Ability to travel for training and between branches as needed.
• Senior Tellers: minimum 1 year teller experience and 1 year backup Head Teller experience.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Recognize customer needs and refer to appropriate platforms.
• Execute Renasant Bank service standards in all interactions.
• Address customer concerns or refer to a teammate who can help.
• Maintain service knowledge in line with regulations and policies.
• Balance cash, manage supplies, balance ATM/vault, and branch procedures.
• Protect the bank by following compliance and risk procedures.
• Stay updated on Teller regulations and branch operations.
• Assist Head Teller with additional procedures and quarterly assessments.
• May coach and mentor, serving as a role model for tellers.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
