Job summary

Renasant Bank is seeking an experienced Teller in Tupelo, MS to handle customer transactions with accuracy and courtesy, while identifying sales opportunities and referring customers to the right bank products. Senior Tellers will back up the Head Teller, lead by example, and help achieve sales and service goals in a fast-paced branch.

The position emphasizes compliance with bank policies, risk management, and exceptional customer experiences as part of daily operations and team leadership

Qualifications

• Basic teller duties including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payoffs and official checks.
• Identify customer needs and refer to appropriate banking platform.
• Maintain compliance with bank policies and procedures while delivering accurate transactions.
• Be a role model in operations and assist Head Teller as needed.
• Minimum 1 year successful teller experience and 1 year back-up Head Teller experience for Senior Tellers.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions effectively and accurately.
• Refer customers to sales opportunities and bank services.
• Balance cash drawer and perform daily branch operations.
