Hospital for Special Care seeks a Telemonitor Technician to provide continuous observation of patients and quickly relay any safety concerns to the nursing team. You will operate AvaSure monitoring systems, verbally redirect at‑risk behavior, and troubleshoot camera setups in patient rooms.

The role requires staying alert across multiple patients, documenting events, and upholding confidentiality within a 32-hour work week on the second shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; hospital setting knowledge.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to read, write and understand directions in English.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Preferred: 1 year hospital experience.
• Preferred: Nurse Assistant/Medical Assistant certification.
• Preferred: Direct patient care experience.

Responsabilités

• Provide continuous observation and surveillance of assigned patients.
• Verbally redirect patients from at-risk behaviors using two-way audio.
• Troubleshoot AvaSure camera systems and set up cameras in patient rooms.
• Report patient behaviors to nursing staff and manage escalation as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow hospital policies.
